Iranian forces say they have struck a American military facility in Bahrain, as the country executed operations throughout the Middle East in response for a large-scale and ongoing assault targeting the nation by the United States and Israeli forces.
Huge plumes of black smoke were seen rising from an area near the headquarters of the American Fifth Fleet in Bahrain's capital, Manama. The scope of any impact is not yet known and the US has not commented.

That initial attack - launched at approximately 09:15 Iran time - has so far targeted areas linked to the Iranian leadership, with President Trump calling on the people of Iran to revolt against the leadership.
