Mohamed Salah Offers Regret to Squad, Reveals Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that the Egyptian forward said sorry to the entire Liverpool squad after the fallout from his televised remarks.

Salah was left out from a vital match after making accusations and suggesting his rapport with Arne Slot had broken down.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” Jones revealed. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I apologise.’”
The manager has refused to comment publicly on whether he was apologised to from the 33-year-old forward.
Moving Forward
The player stated that the squad's reaction was unchanged. “Nothing about him changed, he was smiling and it was business as usual,” he continued.
The midfielder also noted that a competitor wanting to play is a positive trait. “I get that there are different methods you can handle situations,” he said. “Yet, should someone be happy to just not start, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have been impressive in the period after the situation. He feels the outburst were never meant to cause disruption.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a desire to win,” the midfielder stated. “We’re past that now and we’re building chemistry, getting results and securing victories.”
