Tributes Pour In for the Reiners as Medical Examiner's Findings Are Sealed.

Over a fortnight after the tragic deaths of celebrated filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, photographer Michele Reiner, the entertainment community continue to honor the duo.

A Heartfelt Farewell: Cary Elwes Remembers His Director

Posting on social media, actor Cary Elwes, who was featured in Reiner's 1987 classic *The Princess Bride*, mentioned he only now felt prepared to share openly about his personal sorrow.

"Adequate time has elapsed that I can now articulate my loss into words," shared Elwes, saying that his introductory moment with Reiner created an instant bond. "As we began passing more hours together I realized this was someone I desired in my life."

The actor posted never-before-seen clips from the movie, adding that he doesn't recollect "any day without laughter".

"The film is about devotion, fidelity and selflessness. Things that Rob held dear. This is one of the many reasons he was the best person to helm it," Elwes continued.

He also paid tribute Michele Reiner, noting: "Claiming that they were a formidable pair would be an oversimplification. My heart still pangs every time I think of you." He ended with a phrase from *The Princess Bride*: "Sure, death cannot stop true love but existence is agony without you."

Martin Scorsese Recalls a Friend and Collaborator

In a different piece, legendary director Martin Scorsese shared memories of Reiner, whom he first met in the 1970s.

"Immediately, I loved spending time with Rob. We had a natural affinity for each other. He was very funny and sometimes sharply witty, but he was never the kind of guy who would dominate the room," Scorsese wrote.

Scorsese pointed out Reiner's acting part in his 2013 film *The Wolf of Wall Street*, playing the father of the main character.

"His improvisation skills with the best. He was a expert at comedy, he worked beautifully with his co-stars, and he grasped the human predicament of his character," Scorsese noted.

Court Proceedings: Autopsy Reports Restricted

Recently, a Los Angeles court official decided to prevent the release of the Reiners' post-mortem findings, at the request from the local authorities.

A judicial mandate put a embargo on the files to limit the public release of "all case details, documents, files or images" associated with the ongoing investigation.

The relevant authority had earlier stated their deaths were the outcome of murder, with a record listing the cause as "injuries from a sharp object".

Fallout and Commentary

After the killings, public figures expressed varying reactions.

Ex-President Donald Trump commented on the matter, offering divisive claims that were broadly criticized by several public figures.

Podcaster Joe Rogan contributed his perspective to the those speaking out recently. Conversing on his show, Rogan labeled the statements as "shocking" and remarked they showed a concerning deficiency of sympathy.

Rogan finished by suggesting that an associate could have acted when the choice to comment on the passing was made.
