The incident resulted in the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

Formal charges have been brought against two men following a luggage theft where a believed to be pepper spray caused injuries at the UK's busiest airport.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, now face two robbery charges and two counts of deploying a toxic agent, authorities have stated.

This legal action stems from an investigation into an attack at the parking structure at Heathrow's Terminal Three on Sunday. Prior to the attack, two female travelers had their suitcases taken after exiting a parking garage elevator, police said.

A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. A total of five individuals were taken to a medical facility and were later discharged.

This event – which authorities stated was a standalone event and deemed non-terroristic – resulted in train delays and the partial closure of the main airport road tunnel and the T3 parking area for a brief period.
